MERL Research Assistant Shahzaib Kashif Joins Intensivate as CHISEL Developer: Congratulations!


Our Research Assistant Shahzaib Kashif has recently been hired as a CHISEL Developer at Intensivate, a Berkeley based start-up that aims to design the World’s Most Efficient Analytics Processor. Shahzaib Kashif, who is a Software Engineer of Batch-2018 from UIT University and has been working as a Research Assistant in MERL-UITU, has around 3 years of experience in designing RISC-V based core using Constructing Hardware in Scala Embedded Language (CHISEL) HDL. He has also been selected as a Mentee in Linux Foundation (LFX) Mentorship Programme by RISC-V for his project "Porting AOSP 12 Emulator to RISC-V RV64G".
